Aladdin at Bourne End Community Centre - 19th & 20th Jan

If you didn't make it to the panto at Christmas, here's your chance!  Join Aladdin for a fun filled magical adventure as he bids to save the beautiful Princess Jasmine from the clutches of the wicked Abanazar! Expect all the traditional panto ingredients - toe tapping tunes, a laundry-full of laughs, loads of audience participation - and a very, very badly behaved panda! It's a genie-us of a pantomime!

The Nutcracker performed by The Russian State Ballet of Siberia, Wycombe Swan 18/19/20 Jan

If you have an aspiring ballet dancer in your house, treat them to this. Formed in 1981, the Russian State Ballet of Siberia has quickly established itself as one of Russia’s leading ballet companies and has built an international reputation for delivering performances of outstanding quality and unusual depth. The soloists and corps de ballet are superb, and never fail to delight audiences with their breathtaking physical ability and dazzling costumes.

Build a Bird Box with Wild Cookham - 19th Jan *Booking essential*

Every home needs a bird box and here's an opportunity to make a perfect bird house guided by experts! Our next event is our popular nest box making session suitable for adults and children. Box kits together with tools are provided for £10 each. Boxes suitable for robins or blue tits can be made in this workshop. Bob Keene and others from the Bisham bird box group will help you make them and also advise on the best place to site them.
With the Big Garden Birdwatch coming up at the end of January, what better way to prepare than to create your own bird house!
