This Show Does Not Contain Nuts

So last night, a few friends and I took a punt on a comedy night.

the Kenton Theatre in Henley said come along, its a great night! So off we trotted, not really knowing what to expect, but we trusted her...sort of. Comedy nights can vary from the downright awful to the absolutely side-spitting hilarious and thankfully I can honestly say the night was the latter of these. Almost immediately the shows creator and compere Maddi Sharkey had the audience on side as she opened the show in her own unique way, sporting après ski wear and enticing the audience on stage to partake in a shot to kick dry January up the backside.

This Show Does Not Contain Nuts showcases the talent of three female critically acclaimed comics, alongside this comedy line-up a few added extras are thrown in for good measure – burlesque hip-hop, pumping Ibiza tunes, glitter canons and some thought provoking graphics. The last show in Henley is on tonight (19th Jan), so if you can gather a few girls and make a trip, I’d heartily recommend you do, it’s a great tonic for the month of January.
