Up for Grabs: 2 tickets to the Gourmet Picture Company
So… as it's Christmas… The Gourmet Picture Company are giving away a pair of tickets to a lucky Mums About Cookham reader.
Last year, a group of pals, including chef Tom Kerridge, Brand Events CEO Chris Hughes and owner of Unicorn Productions Mark James were conversing of their shared love of great food, classic film and their home town of Marlow. They thought: why not combine all three and serve a three-course meal, created by a top UK chef whilst you’re watching a classic film with your loved ones? This is how the Gourmet Picture Company was born and a Christmas series was created at the Old Town Hall in Marlow town centre.
Now in its second year, GPC have made it even bigger, even more fun with even more seats so everyone can join in the foodie festivities. The main Pop Up Cinema is based in Riley Park in Central Marlow, featuring a beautiful, plush and very cosy cinema with all the trimmings, (local Harrow & Hope Sparkling Wine and Rebellion Beer), and featuring Tom’s fabulous gourmet menu to match the films on show. Not only this, but the GPC have also decided to pick on other venues around Marlow Town for Fringe Popup Cinemas in places, such as the beautiful All Saints Church, Tom’s band-new The Butcher’s Tap, The Coach and Bisham Abby to name just a few, in collaboration with Firefly Events.
There are still tickets left for sale, so please do pop on over to the Gourmet Picture Company’s website to see the schedule – it’s fast becoming a Christmas Tradition in Marlow and is something fun to do during those days after the inevitable festive indulgence.
All you have to do to enter Mums about Cookham's giveaway, is ‘Like’ the Gourmet Picture Company on their Facebook site - https://www.facebook.com/gourmetpictureco/ and email me your name and mobile number (don’t worry, I won’t be giving your details to anyone), to MumsaboutCookham@gmail.com – and I will pick at random a name and announce a winner on Saturday 23rd December.
Good luck!
