HELP THE SAILING CLUB TO RAISE £2,000
Cookham Reach Sailing Club hopes to raise £2,000 to install a defibrillator on the towpath beside the club. As you know this is a beautiful stretch of the Thames and a favourite walk of many.
The defibrillator will be for the benefit of club members, river users and the wider Cookham community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is estimated that every day in the UK 200 people suffer a cardiac arrest: the objective is to make defibrillators as common as fire extinguishers.
The Club is working with The Community Heartbeat Trust, a a charity dedicated to installing defibrillators. The money collected will go to them and they will supply the equipment and take care of installation, training and maintenance.
Can you help?!
