DR SUSIE HAYTER IS LEAVING COOKHAM MEDICAL PRACTICE

I was sorry to hear that Dr Susie Hayter is leaving Cookham Medical Centre, but she has good reason - she wants to spend more time on her thriving beauty business and with her three children.

Her private medical aesthetic clinic, My Beauty Doctor at The Marlow Club, offers non-surgical anti-ageing and beauty treatments. Her philosophy it to provide a personal service and to only endorse treatments that actually work.

But what with working five sessions per week as a GP, running her own beauty clinic, plus being a mum to three children - Jack, seven, Max, four, and Ella, two - something had to give.

Dr Hayter says: 'I am leaving Cookham Medical Practice. I have found that being a partner at the surgery is too inflexible with my young family. My beauty business is busier and busier, and I really enjoy the creative part of it. The aesthetic industry is growing at a fast pace and it's something I've found I'm good at! I will continue to work as a GP but as a locum where I can choose the days and hours to fit with spending more time with my beautiful children.'

I would like to wish Dr Hayer the very best in her future endeavours - we will miss her.
