Longridge needs you!
Longridge is once again at the mercy of the River Thames, and due to all of the
bad weather the river has burst its banks and is covering the majority of the site.
Luckily, the Longridge team were on hand after the heavy rainfall to save escaped boats and pontoons. However, it is what the floods have left behind that has caused the most damage.
Longridge is due to open its doors to the public again on the 6th and
would appreciate any volunteer help to start to restore the site, no matter what day or what task your help would really make the difference.
As a charity Longridge heavily relies on community help and donations to keep running. Longridge will also be staging a Spring Clean Weekend on the 15th-16th March for another season of adventurous fun, if you would like to help please contact our site manager Emmaleen Dean on Emmaleen.dean@alfcharity.org.uk.
