How to Catch a Star review

We went to see How to Catch a Star at Norden Farm as part of my daughter's nursery trip. The story is based on the book by Oliver Jeffers and about a lonely little boy

who decides to catch a star so he can be friends with it.

The children in the audience got involved straight away, 'blowing' the little boy's boat in different directions and shouting 'behind you'. The set was appealing to all ages, with lollipop trees, a starry night sky and pop-up house. There was live music and puppets to keep them entertained, magical story-telling and a happy ending. My daughter loved it and it was just the right length to keep a three-year-old's interest.

One word of warning: wear a coat as you will get wet. That was the best bit for my daughter - seeing Mummy get soaked!

How to Catch a Star is showing till 29th December. Visit www.nordenfarm.org for more info.
