Remember, remember the 5th of November
I will definitely remember Bonfire Night this year. Well, to be factually correct, we actually celebrated it on Saturday at the Cookham Dean Fireworks display. We packed our torches and headed up the hill to the green, where the children of the village were embarking upon a lantern parade. Such a pretty sight! The parade finished with the lighting of the bonfire, and then the fireworks commenced. While sipping on our mulled wine, we enjoyed the show with our daughters, to a backdrop of oohs and aahs as each rocket took to the sky. Heading home for a hot chocolte afterwards, our eldest, Mya, asked if we could come again tomorrow. Sadly, we told her she'd have to wait till next year, but we've been having to show her fireworks displays on the internet since!
