Radio ga-ga
Imagine my surprise at being asked to go on Marlow FM's Mid-morning Matters and chat to Carla Delaney for an hour! Gulp...
But I'm not one to turn down an opportunity, so Friday morning, I pulled up outside the studios at Longridge and swallowed my rising nerves.
It was actually much more relaxed than I had thought it would be. Carla was really kind to me and eased me into the interview. We nattered about how Mums about Cookham came to be and I told her it was born through my three passions - my family, my home and my work. We covered a lot of ground - the three chefs I've interviewed, the Cookham Media Hub, topics in the news, and our chat was interspersed with my favourite music.
And all too soon, just as I was beginning to enjoy myself, it was all over. But I've yet to pluck up the courage to listen to the recording of it yet!
